We at HMDE are blessed to have the opportunity to host
Diabetes Health Fairs in our local community. Our health
fairs have been wonderful successes that served to increase
the visibility and awareness of diabetes education
within the local community. These events are
instrumental in increasing the awareness of local services and resources in the community
and in motivating participants to make a positive step
toward improving their health behavior.
Working in cooperation with you, the value-added
services provided by Healthy Management Diabetes Education
(HMDE) include:
- Organizing and managing the Health Fair.
- Planning and arranging for booths from agencies and local vendors.
- Providing necessary clerical support.
- Writing letters and invitations.
- Phone Calls
- Emails etc.
- Planning and organizing adequate staff for the health fair (setup and cleanup).
- Supplying an on-site manager to setup and other times to "put out fires" as they arise.
- Developing and distributing flyers in the community.
- Designing Flyers & Banners
- Typesetting
- Mileage
- Developing and distributing public service announcements to the media, including radio, TV, newspapers, etc.
- Filing for permits as needed by the City (if necessary)

Healthy Management Diabetes Education (HMDE) is a non-profit 501c3 organization providing diabetes education to the Riverside/San Bernardino County and surrounding community.
